The first coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, was foretold in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New Testament.
Jesus said, "the Scriptures testify about me" (John 5:39) and "the Scriptures cannot be broken" (John 10:35). And about Jesus, the New Testament affirms: "All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name" (Acts 10:43).
